Are your IG stories waaay down? Babe, fret not - firstly, you are not the only one.
So many people are reporting this right now and I’d definitely say not to worry as it’s summer (well... in the northern hemisphere anyway) and people are FINALLY allowed to live their lives.
Secondly, I’ve got you!
There are some really simple ways to increase views and engagement on your stories. These tips will guide you towards creating a personable and engaging online presence, be it YOU or your brand identity, understanding the algorithm, as well as some pure and simple strategic tips that get people engaged.
Here are my 5 top tips and tricks of the trade for you to use to get more engagement and view on your IG stories!

Show Your Face
Numbers are showing that if you start the day off with a picture or video of your face plus some text if your stories, the engagement throughout the rest of the day will be higher! So say hello to your followers!

Stop Selling
Stop selling in your stories! I know this is a little contradictory to what I usually say, but if you are just showing up in your stories people are just not going to like it. So take a little break from that and move on to my next little tip!

Share Something Personal
Something small, just like your morning coffee, or your yoga practice, or even just the sky (that’s my go to and you guys LOVE it). Invite people in to those little moments in your day. It doesn’t have to be a full expose of the ins and outs of you day, but just little moments you choose to share with your IG community.
People are nosy and want to see what you are up to + it will help them connect with you.

Take a Little Break
Stop posting stories for at least 24-hours and see if this helps. Usually, when you leave the algorithm thinks “what’s going on?!” and will give you a little boost when you come back on.
Plus, its a great excuse to have a mini break and go out in the sun!! Not that you need an excuse mind.

Use Stickers
Use stickers, such as a poll or question sticker. People love feeling like their opinion matters so give them that option to get involved. It will work a treat!
