5 Ways to Grow Your Business Outside of IG

IG is an absolutely amazing tool when it domes to growing your business - BUT is not the only way. As you and your business grow its a great idea to diversify your strategies to keep the ball rolling! Expanding outside of IG also gives you a chance to really hone in on your brand as it will get you thinking about what you offering in more detail as you grow into different platforms. What’s more, if Instagram were to somehow disappear into the ether, you might find yourself a little stuck.

So with this in mind, below are 5 different wats to facilitate and encourage growth. Expand your game plan and you will soon see you biz follow suit! Go get ‘em!

Writing weekly blog posts allows you to dive a litter deeper into certain topics and gives you a completely different format to share information, ideas and opinions is to Instagram. You can get really creative with them, or come up with a mini series that people can follow, which creates a sense of continuity and consistency - which as we know is key!

Create and nurture a Facebook group

Creating a niche Facebook group that is really specific to your and your offering allows space to really nurture a community. Through this you can encourage communication and continued engagement with your followers and clients.

You can create content which is exclusive to this group and when people join you, they are actually making a further conscious choice get involved. It’s a different level of commitment which is far more specific than IG!

A great way to grow you mailing list is with a lead magnet. What is a lead magnet? Well, it’s a free offering people can receive when they join you mailing list. This is a great opportunity to show people what you are all about and what you have to offer. Giving something away for free might seem counterintuitive when you are trying to generate profit, but trust me the pay off is worth it!

Newsletters and mailing lists are a great way to keep people interested and up to speed with what you are doing. But lets not spam people!

Collaborating with people is such a great way to expand your audience - and that of the people who are collaborating with too! Inviting people to work with you not only introduces you to their audience and clients, but also mixes your content up to. No one wants to hear one voice all the time, because let’s be honest, that’s monotonous. Sharing space, amplifying voices, and just being part of a community will ensure that your growth is authentic and sustainable.

Create a YouTube channel

Finally, YouTube may throw you back to the era of daily vlogs BUT YouTube is a great way to grow your business. Firstly, YouTube is home to more than 2 billion users worldwide with a MILLIONS and MILLIONS of daily visits.

Where blog posts can give more room to deep dive into written content, YouTube does the same but for video. Video is superior when it comes to engagement, its really versatile, and you can also have a lot of fun and create something that is suited perfectly to you and your offering! And with marketing moving towards video over static content, this platform is a great in.

Its also a really accessible archive of your content which people are very familiar with using. I still get views on my videos from 5 years ago!
